Enjoy laughs galore at charity comedy night

Host James Alderton

With January now long behind us and the first signs of spring appearing, it’s time for us to emerge from the post-Christmas hibernation and start enjoying our free time again.

Hampshire Hospitals Charity, which provides equipment and support to enhance the experience of visiting and working in local hospitals, is hosting a comedy night on Friday 28 February to help raise important funds to support their work.

The event, taking place at Basingstoke College of Technology, will be hosted by award-winning comedian James Alderton who will introduce stars many will recognise from Live at the Apollo and Mock the Week.

Sabrina Marsden, fundraising manager at the charity said: “At Hampshire Hospitals Charity we really like to put the fun into fundraising and what better way to enjoy yourself than a comedy night where you’ll be entertained by some of the best comedians on the circuit. As you sit back and enjoy a fabulous night out, you’ll be knowing that you’re supporting our work to help enhance the environment for patients and staff at your local hospital.”

The event is open to over 18s only with the last few tickets now remaining, priced at £18 per person.
